What It Does
The application connects to supported financial institutions through Plaid, retrieves transaction data authorized by the account holder, and formats that data into readable CSV exports.

Personal Bank Tracker is a private tool used to connect bank accounts, review transaction history, and export clean CSV files for personal bookkeeping and reporting.
Account Access
Bank login credentials are handled by Plaid Link. Personal Bank Tracker does not ask users to enter bank credentials directly and does not store bank usernames or passwords.
Data Use
Transaction data is used only to display, organize, and export account activity requested by the account holder. Data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.
Privacy
Personal Bank Tracker requests access only to the bank account data needed to provide transaction tracking and export features. Data is processed for the account holder's personal bookkeeping purposes.
Security
Connections are initiated through Plaid Link. Plaid manages the secure account authorization flow with the financial institution. Access can be revoked through the connected financial institution or Plaid where supported.
